While LendingTree does use your free credit score and/or consumer reports (sometimes called “credit reports”) to provide you with information and opportunities regarding your current credit situation, This inquiry performed by LendingTree is a soft inquiry and does not impact your credit score. Not all lenders will use your Social Security Number (SSN) if you provide it in this or other forms. LendingTree DOES NOT offer, extend or alter credit. LendingTree DOES NOT originate or fund any loans or products it markets. Rather it has a Network of Lenders for you to shop and compare such products.

LendingTree DOES NOT make credit decisions and is not a Lender. You may choose to speak with a lender and/or fill out one of their formal applications, it is at that time you can be offered, or obtain an extension of credit. If you choose to go through the formal application process with a lender you will be asked to authorize a "hard inquiry" on your credit, because LendingTree does not share or transmit your credit score or credit report data with any Lender on its Network.

Your Free Credit Score service is for you to have more control over your own financial situation. However, you should note that if you fill out an Auto or Personal loan form on LendingTree's Website that when you hit the "Submit" button you are consenting, acknowledging and agreeing for the lenders with whom you are matched to perform a hard inquiry of credit that may impact your credit score. However, shopping and comparing the same product will be treated generally as one inquiry within 45 days of shopping for the same. The Lender(s) you choose, NOT LendingTree, will provide you with formal Credit Score and/or Credit Report Disclosures. THIS NOTICE IS REQUIRED BY LAW. Read more at FTC.GOV. You have the right to a free annual credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com or 877-322-8228, the ONLY authorized source under federal law. LendingTree offer of Free Credit Score will last as long as LendingTree can lawfully provide the same. Should at any point in time the free service cease, consumers will be notified that the service is ending.

Average savings of $325 for My LendingTree users – Disclosure current as of January 30, 2017.

  • The advertised average savings is based on My LendingTree users with a credit score of 620 and above where identified savings were found.
  • The average comes from 3 months of data, starting November 1, 2016.
  • The credit score comes from the TransUnionâ VantageScore 3.0ã credit score.
  • Calculated savings from My LendingTree are derived from a number of factors but not all of your credit data and therefore we cannot guarantee any savings estimates delivered to your account.
  • Offers which appear on LendingTree’s Rate Tables are from companies with which LendingTree receives compensation. This compensation may impact the location and order in which these products appear.

Advertisements using Rate Table figures are based on the following assumptions: an excellent credit borrower looking for a home purchase loan for a single family home priced at $250,000 with a down payment of $50,000. While the ad is based off of those assumptions, the Rate Table can be adapted to fit any other configuration and these figures are examples only. Terms and conditions may apply and your individual credit situation will play a factor in the rates and terms for which you would ulitmately qualify.

Rates, APRs, Monthly Payment Amounts, Fees, Points, and Origination data shown in the LendingTree LoanExplorer℠ rate table are examples only and do not take into consideration mortgage insurance premiums (if required), homeowners insurance, or property taxes. For more details click here for LendingTree’s Terms of Use. Further, data displayed in the LendingTree LoanExplorer rate table does not take into consideration your personal financial situation, appraised value of your home, actual credit score, income, existing debt, or other circumstances particular to an individual. The monthly mortgage payment may increase from the example listed. If you choose an ARM, your payment will likely increase at the stated interval (usually every 12 months) even though it can be fixed only for an initial period (i.e. 5/1 ARM fixed payment for first 5 years then stated increases every 12 months thereafter until the cap, if applicable, is reached). Factors including, but not limited to, your personal financial situation, appraised value of your home, actual credit score, income and existing debt will also impact the actual Rate and APR noted. Again, the data displayed in the LendingTree LoanExplorer rate table are examples only based on the limited information provided. Please review our full list of advertising disclosures to see more detailed examples of the average current rates borrowers are being matched at Advertising Disclosures.

LendingTree’s LoanExplorer allows you to contact lenders directly. By contacting the lenders or submitting a request to be contacted, you may be asked to give express consent to receive return phone calls from the selected Lenders who may contact you at the number(s) or email address you provide to assist you in the mortgage financing process. In addition, you may be asked to agree to receive calls and messages from automated dialing systems and/or by pre-recorded message, and text message(s) (where applicable) at the number(s) you provided. Normal cell phone charges may apply if you provide a cellular number. You may also elect to receive return calls by manually dialed process, email, or other preferred method of contact. You may continue with the LendingTree services without providing a phone number by calling 1-888-272-1355.

Mortgage rate quotes displayed on LendingTree LoanExplorer℠, including loan pricing data, rates and fees, are provided by third party data providers including, but not limited to, Mortech®, a registered trademark of Zillow®, LoanXEngine, a product of Mortgage Builder Software, Inc., and LoanTek, Inc.
