Citi Simplicity® Card has a much lower balance transfer fee than the Citi
® Diamond Preferred
® Card. There is an intro balance transfer fee of 3% of each transfer (minimum $5) completed within the first 4 months of account opening. After that, your fee will be 5% of each transfer (minimum $5). This means it will cost you substantially less to transfer a balance with the Citi Simplicity
® Card than the Citi
® Diamond Preferred
® Card. The card also has an equally long 0% intro APR for 21 months on Balance Transfers, followed by a 18.24% - 28.99% (Variable) APR.

Though it has a slightly shorter intro period, the
Citi Double Cash® Card has a fantastic cash back program, which makes it a better choice for keeping around in the long run. You’ll earn 2% on every purchase with unlimited 1% cash back when you buy, plus an additional 1% as you pay for those purchases. To earn cash back, pay at least the minimum due on time. Plus, a special travel offer, earn 5% total cash back on hotel, car rentals and attractions booked on the Citi Travel℠ portal through 12/31/25.
Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card vs. Wells Fargo Reflect® Card

Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is the better choice for financing a new purchase because you’ll get a longer 0% intro APR for 21 months from account opening on purchases (followed by a 17.24%, 23.74%, or 28.99% Variable APR). However, the Wells Fargo Reflect
® Card has an equally high balance transfer fee as the Citi
® Diamond Preferred
® Card (5%, min: $5), making it less ideal for balance transfers.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card does come with a few additional perks that the Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card doesn’t have, including cellphone protection and 24/7 roadside dispatch.
