Robin Ratcliff is the senior managing editor on the credit cards team at LendingTree, where she leads a team of writers and editors in providing user-friendly product reviews and educational content.

She joined LendingTree in 2019, where she has contributed significantly to expanding the site’s credit cards and rewards program content. Robin loves to help readers do the math in understanding the value of points, miles and credit cards. She led the charge on developing the site’s rating and valuation system.

Robin entered the personal finance space in 2015, when she joined CreditCards.com. She applied her love of explaining complicated topics to launching a product review section for the site.

Before working with personal finance content, she was an editor for the semiconductor trade, explaining microchips to consumers — a complicated industry with fewer opportunities for travel. Nowadays, Robin stays busy scheming the next great adventure for her family.

Robin’s favorite credit cards

“I’m collecting points for affordable family travel, so I’m all about Chase Ultimate Rewards cards for the moment. I love that I can pair these cards to maximize point earnings in all the categories where my family spends a lot, including groceries and dining out. I’ve accumulated nearly a million points, which I used to finance my 10th anniversary trip to Hawaii.”
